You should look for software programs that are FREEWARE, fully functioning without any restrictions or for programs that have been recently replaced by newer versions. As the older versions tend to be given away free. Avoid SHAREWARE programs and trial versions, as these usually have many important functions disabled.

The single most important software program you need to create a website is a HTML editor. If you are not sure which is the best one to use, always read the reviews and ratings given on many download sites.

Using an HTML editor to create a website is relatively straightforward. If you can use Word, then you can use an HTML editor. There are seveal good ones available, so feel free to experiment with more than one.

With patience, time and a little determination you may be pleasantly surprised at how relatively easy it is to create an attractive fully funtioning website with free software programs.
