As an affiliate, you can promote all kinds of products such as ebooks, software, diets, and a virtually endless list of products. Ebay, Target, Amazon.com, T-Mobile, and REI.com are just a handful of companies which have affiliate programs.

Digital products are quite popular, because the owners of these products are usually willing to pay you a 50% commission for each sale you make by sending traffic to their website.

To give you an illustration of how this works, suppose a product sells for $20, and the author of an ebook (electronic book) is willing to pay affiliates a $10 commission for every sale that the affiliate refers. If you were an affiliate of this product and could generate 10 sales a day, you would end up making $50 a day, or $1500 a month! Now imagine if you were able to make 5 sales a day with 10 different products (50 sales a day at $10 per sale). You would end up making be making $500 a day, or $15,000 a month! All of this, of course, is not as easy as it sounds, but it illustrates just how profitable internet marketing can be. You are not going to make $500 a day over night, but it can eventually happen if you know what you are doing, but you will have your share of bruises and bumps along the way.

The first one shows you how to market affiliate products for FREE through free online mediums such as bloggs. This product is an ebook from a website called "Thank You Rich Jerk", which was written by a 23 year old woman named Holly Mann, who makes $12,000 a month. Most of the information in her ebook is based on another ebook called "The Rick Jerk". The main difference, however, is that The Rich Jerk sells his ebook for $49, while Holly sells her's for only $14.95. Oh yeah, I should also mention that The Rich Jerk truly is a rich jerk, but Holly is anything but a jerk. There are two additional resources I recommend, but these two resources focus on pay per click advertising. The first one is called "Adword 1-2-3", written by Greg Heslin, which is the first ebook I read about internet marketing. However, I think there are certain aspects of internet marketing that Greg's ebook doesn't cover very throughly, so once you have a feel for what pay per click advertising is about, I'd suggest joining Wealthy Affiliate, which I'm a member of. Since I joined in mid December, I've learned a whole lot about internet marketing, and always get inspiration and answers to questions from other members, but more importantly, the owners of Wealthy Affiliate, Carson and Kyle. When I joined, I knew nothing about website design, but Carson told me about a free website design tool called NVU, which I used to create my website for www.GetagripWeightloss.com where I'm promoting weight loss products.
